Installation

Upload the plugin ZIP and activate it.
Go to Image Mapping Add New.
Upload or select an image in the builder.
Click to add points, set titles, tooltips, and icons.
Insert [advance_image_mapping id="POST_ID"] into any post or page.

FAQ

Can I upload my own icons?: Yes, you can upload custom icons for each point.
Is it responsive?: Yes, the image maps work seamlessly on all devices.

Basic and inaccurate

Out of the box, it is extremely basic. It has potential, but I suspect it is not getting a lot of uses as it is either new or to simple. You can only add visual markers to your image and those markers pop up information if you hover or click. It isn’t a traditional mapping where you define a clickable region and define the action (like opening another page). The markers are not reliably mapped either. Where you place them when editing is not necessarily where they will show up on the actual page. Needs work on reliable and consistent positioning. Needs work. Has potential.
