AI Sales Agent & Chatbot for WooCommerce – WPCreatix

Description

WPCreatix AI Sales Agent is an AI shopping assistant for WooCommerce that does more than answer support questions. Most chatbots reply from a script or a help doc. This one reads your real product catalog and acts on it: it recommends products you actually sell, adds simple and variable products to the cart, applies existing coupon codes, and hands the shopper a ready checkout link. When a conversation helps close a sale, that order is marked in WooCommerce and counted on your Results page.

The plugin is free and there is no license key. You create a WPCreatix account, paste a one-time connection code, and the assistant goes live on your storefront. New accounts start on a free tier, so you can try it on real traffic before you pay for anything.

What the agent does

  • Answers buying questions from your synced catalog. It talks about products you sell, at the prices you charge, and says so when something is out of stock.
  • Recommends products that match what the shopper described, shown as product cards in the chat.
  • Adds simple and variable products to the WooCommerce cart. For a variation it asks which size or color the shopper wants instead of guessing, and stock is checked when the item is added.
  • Applies existing coupon codes, and explains plainly when a code will not work because it expired or the minimum was not met.
  • Builds a checkout link so the shopper lands on checkout with the cart already filled.
  • Answers live shipping and payment questions from your real store settings rather than a guess.
  • Looks up order status for signed-in customers, with ownership checked on our server before anything is shown.

Built for real WooCommerce stores

  • Free plugin, no license key. Connect with a one-time code from your dashboard.
  • Catalog sync runs in the background and keeps itself current when you edit a product, change stock, or trash a listing.
  • AI-assisted orders get a badge on the WooCommerce orders screen and a summary box on the order edit page. HPOS and cart and checkout blocks are supported.
  • Multilingual stores are handled. With WPML or Polylang the agent knows each language’s own product, links to it, and adds that version to the cart. With TranslatePress, Weglot, or GTranslate in subdirectory mode it links shoppers to the translated page, and TranslatePress product names come through translated too.
  • The agent replies in the shopper’s language on its own.
  • You control the rest from the dashboard: colors and greeting, what the agent is allowed to do, a daily conversation limit, and an instant off switch for each store.
  • Page-cache safe. No secret is ever written into your page HTML, so full-page caching and a CDN are fine.

How the service works

The plugin is free. Conversations run on a prepaid credit balance in your WPCreatix account, and one credit covers an entire conversation however long it runs, so nothing meters you per message. When the balance reaches zero the widget hides itself until your credits refresh or you top up. Nothing bills in the background and there is no metered overage. Plan details are on the plans page.

FAQ

How do I add an AI sales agent to my WooCommerce store?

Install this plugin, create a free account at agent.wpcreatix.com, and paste the one-time connection code into the plugin’s settings page. The AI shopping assistant appears on your storefront on its own. There are no theme edits and no code.

How is this different from a normal chatbot?

A scripted chatbot answers from a fixed list of replies or a help doc. This agent reads your live WooCommerce catalog, so it recommends real products at real prices, adds the right variation to the cart, applies a coupon, and builds a checkout link. It does the things a salesperson would do, not just answer FAQs.

Can the AI add products to the cart?

Yes. It adds simple and variable products to the WooCommerce cart. For a variable product it asks which option the shopper wants, adds the exact variation, and checks stock at that moment. Your mini-cart updates through the standard WooCommerce fragments, so the theme stays in sync.

Can it check order status?

Yes, for a customer who is signed in to your store. The agent looks up the order and confirms the buyer owns it on our server before it shows anything, so one shopper can never read another’s order.

Is there a free version, and do I need a paid plan?

Every new account starts on a free tier with a monthly conversation allowance, and the agent behaves the same there as on any tier. Paid plans are for stores that want more conversations a month, more connected stores, or extra customization. The plans page lists what each tier includes.

Do I need a license key?

No. The plugin is free for everyone. Your store connects to your WPCreatix account with a one-time code instead of a license key.

Does it work with product variations?

Yes. For a variable product the agent asks which option the shopper wants, such as size or color, and adds that exact variation to the cart. It does not guess a variation, and stock is checked when the item is added.

Does it work with WPML or Polylang?

Yes, with no configuration. A translated product group syncs as one product, so the agent links the shopper to the page in their own language, shows the shade or size names as that language spells them, and adds that language’s version to the cart.

The translate-on-the-fly plugins work differently, and so does the agent with them. TranslatePress, Weglot and GTranslate (subdirectory mode only) keep one product and translate the page as it loads, so the agent links to the translated URL and answers in the shopper’s language, but option names stay as your catalog spells them. TranslatePress goes one step further: product names you have translated in its editor are used too, so a shopper can ask for a product by its translated name. See multilingual stores.

Is my chat data used to train AI?

No. Conversations run the service for your store, transcripts are anonymized after 90 days, and chat data is not used to train AI models. See privacy and data retention.

Can I turn the agent off?

Yes, instantly. Every store has an off switch in the dashboard, plus a daily conversation limit, page-level hiding, and a mobile toggle. Credits are only spent on conversations that actually happen.

Will it slow down my store or break my theme?

The widget is a small overlay loaded from our servers, and it does not touch your theme templates. After the agent changes the cart, your theme’s mini-cart refreshes through the standard WooCommerce fragments mechanism. HPOS and cart and checkout blocks are supported.

The chat widget is not showing. What do I check?

Most often the store is disconnected, out of credits, or the agent is switched off for that store. The step-by-step checklist is at widget not showing.

Changelog

1.0.3

  • Fix: on Weglot stores whose settings were loaded from Weglot’s servers rather than saved in the plugin’s own screen, products could disappear from the shop’s main language. The sync now falls back to the site’s own language when Weglot does not report one.
  • Fix: on WPML stores with WooCommerce Multilingual, adding a variation to the cart failed in every language except the site’s main one. The shade or size the shopper picked was matched against the wrong language’s option values, so a combination that plainly existed was refused.
  • Fix: on WPML stores every translated product card linked to the source-language page. The sync runs in the site’s default language, and the link was built for that language rather than the product’s own, so an Arabic or French shopper was sent to the English page. Links now point at the translation’s real URL.
  • Fix: on multilingual stores the chat now recognises option names as your shoppers see them. A shopper asking for a shade or size by its translated name was told that combination did not exist, in the same breath as it being listed.
  • Fix: a shopper on a translated storefront no longer sees products that are not published in their language. Those products have no page and no cart entry in that language, so a card for one could not be bought.
  • Fix: Weglot stores synced broken product links. The language list Weglot returns was read incorrectly, which put the word “Array” in every translated URL. Languages you have switched off are also skipped now, and Weglot’s own custom URL codes are respected.
  • Fix: the chat now offers only the option values your variations actually use. WooCommerce’s own product form lists a size or colour only when a variation carries it; the sync was sending every term on the parent product, so a shopper could be offered a combination that never existed and could not be added.
  • Fix: variations whose values are not selectable on the product itself are no longer treated as buyable. A product WooCommerce cannot sell (its variation values do not match the options on the parent) is now shown as out of stock instead of appearing available and then failing at add to cart. This mostly affected translated products, whose variations often use terms in their own language.
  • Fix: products were sometimes labelled “Out of stock” while being perfectly in stock. Availability is now read from the real variation data, so a stocked product is never badged sold out.
  • New: a “Catalog scope” setting in the dashboard decides whether sold-out products appear in the agent’s search results. It is off by default, so shoppers browsing are shown what they can actually buy. A shopper who asks for a product by name is still told the truth about it – that you carry it and it is currently out of stock – instead of being told you do not have it.

1.0.2

  • New: the catalog sync now includes each variable product’s real variation combinations, so the chat widget’s option picker works the same way as WooCommerce’s own product form — it only offers combinations that exist and are in stock, and a completed pick goes straight into the cart.
  • New: the agent can now remove items from the cart when the shopper asks (“remove the blue one”) — it resolves the loose reference against the real cart lines itself instead of asking for an exact product name.
  • Fix: adding a variable product from the chat now works regardless of how the options are written. The agent’s choices are matched against the product’s real attributes (any casing, label or slug, with or without the pa_ prefix), so custom attributes like “Logo: Yes/No” resolve correctly instead of failing every time.
  • Fix: when an add to cart cannot complete, the agent now learns exactly why — a missing option (with the available choices), an option the product does not have, or a combination that is not stocked (with the combinations that are) — so it recovers in one reply instead of asking the same questions in a loop.

1.0.1

  • New: a “More from WPCreatix” section on the settings screen to help you discover the other WPCreatix plugins, with one-click install.

1.0.0

  • First public release.
  • AI sales agent for WooCommerce: catalog-grounded answers, product recommendations with product cards, add to cart including variations, coupon codes, checkout links, live shipping and payment answers, and order status for signed-in customers.
  • Background catalog sync that keeps product, price, and stock data current. WPML and Polylang sync each language’s product as one group; TranslatePress, Weglot and GTranslate (subdirectory mode) get per-language product links.
  • AI-assisted orders badged on the orders screen with a summary on the order edit page. HPOS and cart and checkout blocks supported.
  • Dashboard controls for appearance, agent capabilities, daily conversation limits, and a per-store off switch.
