This plugin adds a widget which is like the built-in 'Recent Posts'. The main\nand only difference is that the built-in one doesn't update posts dynamicly.<\/p>\n\n

The widget this plugin provides, works as simple as to check if there are newly\npublished posts in certain interval of time, and add them dynamicly.<\/p>\n\n\n

  1. Upload the gsy-ajax-recent-posts<\/code> directory (including all files within) to the \/wp-content\/plugins\/<\/code> directory<\/li>\n
  2. Activate the plugin through the 'Plugins' menu in WordPress<\/li>\n
  3. Add the newly created widget 'Ajax Recent Posts' in the Widgets area<\/li>\n
  4. Click on the added widget and customize it as you wish:\n\n

    2. Number of posts to show<\/li>\n
    3. Set interval time - check for new published posts every X seconds<\/li>\n
    4. Display post date?<\/li>\n<\/ol><\/li>\n
    5.
